After we have given your vehicle the all-clear – a process that usually takes around 40 minutes – you will receive a written copy of your safety certificate to display on your car.
Safety Certificates are valid for different periods of time, depending on who is selling the car:
If you are a licensed motor dealer, Safety Certificates remain valid for three months/1000km, whichever is sooner.
For all other sellers, Safety Certificates remain valid for 2 months/2000km, whichever is sooner.

In Queensland you are allowed up to 14 days to fix any problems identified in your vehicle during a safety inspection. Once any issues have been rectified, give Express Auto Inspections a call to arrange a re-inspection.
